Suzuki Swift became the most popular car in New Zealand

Suziki Swift - became the most popular small car in New Zealand. For general sales, Swift is in third place, behind only the Toyota Corolla and Holden Commodore. Sales of Suzuki Swift increased by 28 per cent in comparison with January and by 9% since February this year.

March 2008 turned out to be very successful for the Japanese company Suzuki, which sold 522 vehicles, representing 8.2 percent of the total market for new cars in New Zealand. In the first three months of 2008, the company managed to significantly increase sales, аж at 65.4% compared with the same period in 2007.

"Sales of Suzuki cars continue to accelerate this year," said Gary Collins, Suzuki Commercial Director of Sales in New Zealand. "Our sales in March were 12 percent higher than in February this year and increased by 21.5% compared with March 2007, while sales in the industry in the same period declined by almost 4 per cent."
